dreams are weird
I had this one dream a few nights ago where Father Mulcahy(sp) from M*A*S*H was passing out cake to to homeless people all over the place. Then I thought it was animals, but he said he didn't like animals. Then I woke up. Strange. I think it might have something to do with my concerns over Christianity and it's beliefs on animals having souls or not. For me, it's easy. Of course they have souls. It also may have to do with how my worrying about the kind of help people are giving animals in need. Current Mood: awake | | Tuesday, December 19th, 2006 | | 12:57 am |
I'm angry
I'm angry today. I'm pissy and emotional. And so I googled both "I am mad" which got me liberal propaganda, which mad me madder, and "I am angry" which got me conspiracy theory b.s. which got me really really angry. So I'll just be PISSED then. Much better hits on google. Current Mood: pissed off | | Friday, December 15th, 2006 | | 7:46 pm |

So, I haven't used LJ in... well, forever, mostly because I've been posting on MySpace instead. I still visit the communities, so I've decided to make an effort. Current Mood: determined | | Monday, October 10th, 2005 | | 6:54 pm |
Quizzes Oh. Great. And this was supposed to make me feel better? | You scored as Labret Piercing. You probably intimidate a whole lot of people without really meaning too. Okay, one of those would be cool. As long as it's not belly button piercing. *shudders* | You scored as Christianity. Your views are most similar to those of Christianity. Do more research on Christianity and possibly consider being baptized and accepting Jesus, if you aren't already Christian.
Christianity is the second of the Abrahamic faiths; it follows Judaism and is followed by Islam. It differs in its belief of Jesus, as not a prophet nor historical figure, but as God in human form. The Holy Trinity is the concept that God takes three forms: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost (sometimes called Holy Spirit). Jesus taught the idea of instead of seeking revenge, one should love his or her neighbors and enemies. Christians believe that Jesus died on the cross to save humankind and forgive people's sins.

 | You scored as Nurse Chapel. You are Nurse Chapel. You are very soft-hearted and need to protect yourself from hurt. You can recite *all* the dialogue from the trilogy.

Darn time consriants...
*Sigh* Why is this class going by so fast lately? I never have enough time to update. On the upside, I am actually working on a fun project right now. Downside: I'm neglecting both it and this journal. Sooo.. this weekend was boring. Not much to say. Pretty much told my aunt she was gonna see RotS with me next week. Her respnse was ti IM: Okay, boss. Hee hee. Now my grandmother doesn't believe that they're coming next week. Claudia came over yesterday. We wasted time. Umm... okay then. Oh yeah. Am hopefully meeting with Anthony at lunch to sign his yearbook and give him a copy of the tape we made. I still shine with pride whenever I think of that tape... man, I'm a dork. Still we worked hard on it and shared the reponsiblilties of it fairly and to our individual strengths. My only regret is making a popular bimbo girl the winner... like she doesn't have everything already. Not that she was mean; she seemed nice, but then again those people usually are at first, then it turns out to be a facade. And the other girl was more talented, thinking back now. But at the time I thought it was the best choice, and maybe it was. Oh well, too late now. No use crying over spilt Pepsi. Urg... I have a stomachache. Waaah. Okay...
I meant to post more about my weekend yesterday, but the @%&*! post didn't go through. Spent two days being mad at livejournal. I'm over it now, so yay. Anyway, by now last weekend's in the past: Late night IMing, underage pregnant males, the Big Head, Taila and the erotic wallpaper, I need theraphy, rented a movie. *sigh* Yesterday was cool. We're all set for the ASL workshop, yay! Got in contact w/two friends I haven't talked to in a while, one thru IM, one thru Rachael. I mad plans to meet w/the first one and sign his yearbook. The second one went like this: Rae and I are borrowing without asking, and thus looking through this other girl's yearbook. Rae points out a picture of a guy and she's like: "This the guy I met online." And I recognized the picture right away. LOL. Small world. Small Deaf-World, lol. Also spent like 10 minutes in conversation with the morning announcment guy. Never figured him for a social guy; who knew? All in all, good day. Well blah...
Nyeh. Wanted to write about my weekend, but I don't really have time right now. *sigh* Waaaah, Rae, you're not here! *sigh* Oh well. I'll be by myself. I'm not really prepared for any of my classes. Okay, randomly switching to new topic... Life is hard. Or maybe I'm just cranky cuz I had trouble falling asleep last night. Yep, that's probably it. Feel free to ignore me. I might come back soon if I have time to write about my weekend, if not then later today. Feel better Rachael! Current Mood: busy | | Friday, May 6th, 2005 | | 9:04 am |
Back to School
Well, here I am. Stayed home yesterday; that was nice... Dunno how much time I have to do this... sooo... Ummm... rented Electra, not a brilliant movie but it was ok. Also got an Apple pie. I LOVE Apple pie; I ate like half of it last night. Then this morning my grandmother asks me what I want for breakfast. I say "I'll be right out." She said that whenever I say that I eat something strange for breakfast. She's right. I had my mind set on Apple pie. Hee hee. Was watching Smallville last Wednesday; lucky for me b/c I saw one of the new ROTS ADs! YAY me! *drool* Only bad thing: Tawny and Kira both feeling so bad... :( Current Mood: rushed | | Wednesday, May 4th, 2005 | | 9:26 am |
Good morning, America!
Yay! Internet all period! Whoo hooo! Hmmm... so... yesterday... Retelling: Me and Rae are standing out in the hall in front of the media center, which is closed for AP testing. Mangy AP students, lol... actually, have a very good and longtime friend who is one (sorry, Paula!) but besides ASL 3 which I believe according to Ms. Bandy is AP by default (who knew?) I'm not. Sooo anyway, lady passes w/pizza I all of a sudden I get a HUGE craving... I know what that means... almost that time of the month... UGGGGG! Yuck. Anyway, then some random guy with a dazed look in his eyes comes up and he's like "What are you doing?" and I'm like "Loitering." and then he starts talking about the painting on the wall... intersting guy, never found out his name... another random guy camoes up and starts trying to get into the the media center, paying no heed to the sign right in front of his face... oh well, we all have our oblivious days... another poor guy musta really needed to get in... he groaned and grumbled and waited w/us and after all that he had to leave cuz he didn't have an admissable pass... awwwz. Anyway, that was yesterday. Today started out annoying. I had another slice of pizza for breakfast. My grandmother: "Pigsa? Are you pregnant?" No, just pre-menstral (I didn't say that). Then she takes out a bottles of Gardinia prefume and sprays it in my hair. It also went in my ear. Who wouldn't want an earfull of that? Next item... An e-mail from an address I didn't recognize with the subject FOTOS turned up in my mailbox. Assuming it was some kind on picturific junk mail with a possible virus, after some thought I deleted it. Turns out that it was my cousin sending me some mystery pics... I had totally forgotten that I had given Taila my e-mail address, sue me. So now my grandmother embarressed to trell him I deleted it. I told her it's no big deal. She didn't believe me, lol. That's all! Current Mood: cheerful | | Monday, May 2nd, 2005 | | 8:55 am |

It's finally Monday and I feel nasty. Noooooo. Bleh! Please let me feel better soon! Please! Had a family function yesterday. My grandma's nephew, his wife, and thier daughter (my cousin Taila), Acelita, and Claudia came over and they were there like the whole day. Me, Harv, Claudia and Taila went over to Tradewinds. Taila's 6 and she's adorable: sooooo shy at first but once she gets used to you she's full of personality. Hee hee. Her dad kept asking why I don't speak Spanish. I'm like "Cuz nobody speaks it to me, ok?" Ugh. Anyway, by the time they left I was drained. So much for the energy of youth. Remind me to get some exercise! On a happier note: HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAE! Hee hee see you soon. Current Mood: sick | | Saturday, April 30th, 2005 | | 8:07 pm |

OMG...
I brought Part 1 of the Rachael/Kenny story today... omg, omg, I can't believe I actually wrote that... what's wrong with me? I'm in some kind of weird fingerspelling mode... I keep fingerspelling random words that people say... I'm not sure when I picked up that habit. Probably last year when I started ASL. No offense to British people, but they have a really dumb fingerspelling system. It's like... so invloved. Instead of using just one hand to make shapes that actually kinda look like the letters written down... (I mean, how long did it take me to memeorize the ASL fingerspelling alphabet, a day?) they have to use both to make these weird@$$ symbols... Ugh. I feel bad for deaf Brits. Can you imagine having to do all that just to spell some guys name? I wonder how fast they can go w/it... Anyway, the fingerspelling thing is weird. What is it with ASL? It like... takes over your body. I've already found myself signing words I'm thinking without realizing it. I know Rachael does it too; I caught her once. LOL. What am I talking about...? Babble on, and on... Rae, this is all your fault; you got me addicted to this thing! ;) Current Mood: anxious | | Monday, April 25th, 2005 | | 5:19 pm |
home
Tripped over a stone thingy and fell in the dirt, that was nice... it was only for a second, but now I feel all dirty. Must wash. Went outside to the patio to check on my new plant, only to find that SOMEONE (my grandmother) had moved it inside... it's not an outdoor plant! And it's MINE! Grrrr... people betta stay the *bleep* away from my plant... my mommy gave it to me. It's ok, now though. It's a Mimosa pudica. It's kewl cuz the leaves fold up when you touch them. My mom and I went to Butterfly World last Sunday and got it. We also got a vine for her and a vine for my grandmother. But my grandma is a greedy guts who wants every single plant on earth cuz she thinks no one else can properly care for them, or whatever. Anyway, this is what it looks like: Only it's an itty bitty baby plant and it's in this little green plastic pot. Moving right along... as soon as we got home this semi-hot guy comes up and needed to use our phone. He said he lived like right across from us, but I've never seen him before. He was tall, tall, TALL! I know he was in High school; he had an ID. Couldn't see where from, though. Hmmm... hope I see him again... Am now working on 2 fics... 1) Silly story w/Paula and me... 2) Uh-HEM! w/Rae and Kenny 3 if you count trying to make up a Code of Ethics thing for the American Sign Language workshop... (Rachael... Kira... if you're reading this and you have any ideas... or you think I'm being too controlling... TELL ME! It's a big grade we now have Anonymous to carry, lol.) Last item... started re-reading new Star Wars book so must get those ROTS quotes up soon before I forget them. Maybe later tonight. Current Mood: dirty |
